Richard Hollinger, Head, Special Collections Dept., joined the staff in August 2000. Prior to his arrival, his most recent position was Curator of Manuscripts at the New Jersey Historical Society. He has earned a B.A. and M.A. in History, an M.A. in Public History and Historic Preservation, and is in the process of completing a Ph.D. in Archival Science at the University of Amsterdam.
Elaine Smith, Library Assistant, joined the staff in 2001. She was previously the supervisor of the Helen S. Dunn Elementary school library in Olamon. She earned her B.A. from the University of Maine.
Bonnie Garceau, Library Assistant, has been working for Fogler Library for nineteen years. She transferred to Special Collections from the Interlibrary Loan Department in 2011.
Desiree Butterfield-Nagy, Archivist, moved to the Special Collections Department in 2009 after five years in the Government Publications, Microforms, Maps, and GIS Department. She has a B.S. from Utah State University, an M.A. from Northern Arizona University, and an M.L.I.S. from the University of South Carolina.
