Databases
Business Source Premier - lots of full text articles; Article Linker
JSTOR - full text, older journal articles
Lexis/Nexis Academic - includes news, business and legal information; full text
PAIS International - indexes books, articles, and reports related to public policy; Article Linker
Statistical Universe - some full text
Web of Science - includes the Social Science Citation Index; Article Linker
Databases that are linked with Article Linker, allow you to automatically check URSUS for electronic and/or print subscriptions. If you are using an index that does not have full text, and does not use Article Linker, do a JOURNAL search in URSUS, using the name of the journal (not the title of the article) to see if we have access to it in either paper or electronic format.
Interlibrary Loan - for journal articles we do not have access to
How to Locate Materials
For books identified in URSUS that are not at your library, or that are in MaineCat, use the Request button at the top of the screen to order.
To find out if Fogler has access to a journal article, perform an URSUS title search using the title of the journal, not the title of the article. This will tell you if Fogler Library has access to the journal, and, if so, for what years and in what format.
If you cannot locate a book in URSUS or MaineCat, or a journal at your home library, fill out an Interlibrary Loan form.
