Circulation staff will retrieve the books from the stacks, check them out to you, and send them through campus mail, usually within 24 hours.
University of Maine faculty, staff, and graduate students may use this service to obtain pdf copies of journal articles or book chapters held by Fogler Library. Document Delivery staff will post a scanned pdf of journal article(s) to the requester's ILLiad account. Requests may be made through your ILLiad account by using the appropriate request form in the Document Delivery menu for either an Article or Book Chapter request.
Most books that are listed in the URSUS and

libraries other than Fogler (e.g., UM-Fort Kent, Bowdoin), may be requested
online. When viewing a record in URSUS for an item you wish to request,
click the request button and enter the information required. In the box labeled
"Choose Pickup Location," select "Orono." Within MaineCat,
first select "Univ of Maine" from the pull-down menu below the
"Choose Your Library." After the lending library mails the books to Fogler
Library, Circulation staff will check them out to you and send them through campus
mail. Books are usually delivered within one week.
