Fogler Library Interlibrary Loan -- Lending Policies

Books, AV/Media, Special Collections

• Books from our circulating collection, including Library Annex items
• Most AV/Media including CDs,DVDs,VHS
• Circulating items from Special Collections

Loan period

• 4 weeks for regular circulating books, renewals possible for most materials

Microfilm and Microfiche

• For documents up to 30 pp., we supply scans of microfiche documents.
• We supply microfiche copies of microfiche documents longer than 30 frames.

Loan period

• 8 weeks for microfilm
• Microfiche copies are to be supplied to the borrowing patron and do not need to be returned.

E-books, Reference, Rare

• We are able to supply single chapters but not full versions of ebooks.
• Reference materials rarely circulate but may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Loan periods:

• 8 weeks for microfilm

Submitting Requests

• OCLC (Symbol MEU)
• DOCLINE (Symbol MEUUMO)
• ILLiad (logon for libraries)
• We do not accept phone, email, or fax requests.

Fees:

• No charge for loans to public and non-profit libraries.
• Articles free to LVIS, NO$$ and reciprocal libraries
• For profit libraries; articles and loans are $25.
