Part Four Comparisons With Other
Universities |
| LibQUAL results from 2007 can be compared to national norms from
2003 and to the results of universities that participated during the
years 2004-2007. The University of Maine used EPSCOR universities in
northeastern and northern states for peer comparisons. The scores
listed are derived using mean scores for all questions within each
area. Individual question comparisons cannot be made. Because the
national norms provide data on undergraduate students, graduate
students, and faculty, only these user groups were used in deriving
mean scores for the University of Maine, the University of Maine
System, and the EPSCOR peers. |
| The scores in the following table show that library patrons at
the University of Maine have very similar perceptions to patrons for
the University of Maine System, the EPSCOR peers, and the national
norms. |
