1. EVENTS
A.  LIBRARY OPEN UNTIL 2;30 AM DURING FINAL EXAMS WEEK
    On Sunday night, December 14, the Library will be open until 2:30am the following morning. The late closure will be continued through Thursday, December 18.  Please apprise your students of the extended hours during Final Exams Week. For detailed Library building and department hours please go to <library.umaine.edu/about/hours.htm>.

B. LIBRARY INSTRUCTION SESSIONS FOR YOUR CLASSES
   As you prepare for next semester's classes, remember that librarians in the Reference and Science & Engineering departments at Fogler are available to provide instructional sessions for your students.  These sessions can cover specific databases, or a variety of research materials, that will aid your students in their class work.  For Humanities and Social Science disciplines, contact Nancy Lewis (nancy.lewis@umit.maine.edu ) or 207-581-3713; for Science and Engineering disciplines, contact Jim Bird (jim.bird@umit.maine.edu )or 207-581-1697.
