1. SERVICES
A. MAINE'S SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINESS RESEARCH LIBRARY
Fogler Library serves as a resource for meeting the science, technology and
business information needs of citizens of the state. We provide a portal for
information resources in these areas at <http://www.library.umaine.edu/scitechbus/>.
The portal includes databases funded by the Maine State Legislature, plus links
to additional resources. For more information, contact <scitechbus@library.umaine.edu>.
2. COLLECTIONS
A. TOWN REPORTS UPDATE
The Maine Town Reports partnership project with the Maine State Library
continues to grow. We have added content from 6 new towns: Bar Harbor, Belgrade,
Camden, Damariscotta, Jay and South Paris Village. Please see the map of current
holdings at <http://library.umaine.edu/townreport/>.
Our current highlight takes you Down East to the town of Jonesport and coming
soon, content from our new partner in Lakeville where community members have
digitized handwritten town proceedings from the mid-19th century when the town
was first petitioned.
