A. RESEARCH CONSULTATION AREA
Our Research Consultation Area, located on the 1st floor in the Information
Commons, is used by Fogler librarians, the Writing Center, and the Tutor Program
for individual or small group assistance, generally on a by-appointment basis.

3. COLLECTIONS
A. ROPER CENTER FOR PUBLIC OPINION RESEARCH
The library is pleased to announce access to the Roper Center public opinion
data archives, which comprise the largest collection of polls anywhere in the
world. Please link from our Indexes and Databases page at <http://www.library.umaine.edu/indexesdb/indexes.asp>.
The University of Maine's membership includes iPOLL, a comprehensive database of
500,000 questions and answers asked in the US since 1935. Also included is
on-demand access to the datasets required to conduct bivariate and multivariate
analyses on archived surveys using RoperExpress.
