C. SPRING BREAK WORKSHOP: DIGITALCOMMONS@UMAINE
DigitalCommons@UMaine is an online site for collecting, preserving,
and disseminating the intellectual and artistic output of UMaine’s
faculty, staff, and students. Learn how this institutional
repository provides a free alternative to disseminate research,
scholarship, and creative activity by attending Fogler Library's
free Introduction to DigitalCommons@UMaine workshop on Thursday,
March 14, 9 a.m.-12 noon. This session provides an overview of
Digital Commons and introduces users to essential tools and concepts
for uploading material to the repository. The workshop is limited to
16 participants, so registration is required. For more information,
please visit: <http://library.umaine.edu/newmedia/>.
To arrange for one-on-one training, contact Kim Sawtelle at <kimberly.sawtelle@umit.maine.edu>
