A. FRONT (MALL/NORTH ENTRANCE) STEPS TO THE LIBRARY ARE NOW OPEN
The contractors have opened the fence gates, the new concrete sidewalks are
uncovered, and the new steps are now open! Easier access to the Oakes Room
for coffee, etc.
(As of 12:25 pm on January 12th the canvas covering and the warming hoses
are still thawing the center part of terrace in front of the doors, but the
contractors said to just walk on them carefully. No problem.)
The west side steps and handicap ramp on the east end of the new terrace are
not open yet. The steps need to be connected to the sidewalk and the Mall
entrance Library doors don't yet have handicap openers on them. The
Library's East entrance by the Union will continue to be handicap
A. FOGLER LIBRARY SENDING URSUS NOTICES VIA EMAIL
In order to provide faster and more efficient service to our patrons, Fogler
Library has begun sending first and second overdue notices, recall notices,
hold pick-up, and cancellation notices via email. The Library will use a
patron’s email address from Student Records or Payroll. If none is
provided, the above notices will be sent via regular mail. All invoices
and statements will continue to be sent via regular mail.
Currently the system sends a separate email for each overdue item, even if
they are due the same day. We are working on this! Library items are due on
their assigned due date or time. It is the patron's responsibility to make
sure borrowed material is returned on time. Overdue notices are a courtesy
and Fogler Library takes no responsibility for the non-receipt of overdue
notices. If you have any questions, please contact the Circulation
Department at Fogler Library: firstname.lastname@example.org
