25 laptops are available for 3 hour checkout to University of Maine
students, faculty, and staff. You will need to present your Maine Card to the
Circulation staff and read and sign
our Policy For Use Form. Please see the
laptop checkout policy.
The laptops are equipped with:

- Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002, MS Office, FirstClass, Web browsers.

Two scanning stations are available for scanning various
formats of text and images, including photos and other images, microfilm and
microfiche, and books and journal articles. Color Printing is available.

Circulation provides basic digital video recording and editing
equipment available to all students, faculty and staff. Seven miniDV camcorders
