Scene 1: Title page appears with music playing, then fades to an animated figure—Larry, a library staff member—standing on the sidewalk with Fogler Library in the background. Larry is the guide for this tour of the Media Resource Center. Larry begins to speak, then turns and walks up a short set of steps leading to the front of the library and then to the main entrance of the building. Larry opens the door, enters building and is seen standing on the first set of stairs leading to the second floor of the library

Larry: Looking for the Media Resource Center? We’re located in Fogler Library on the second floor. Just come in the front door, go up the stairs, bear to the right, and at the top of the stairs, we’re in the left corner.

When Larry reaches the top of the stairs, he faces to the far left corner of the room where he mentions the location of the Media Resource Center.

Scene 2: Larry is seen standing in the Media Resource Center in front of the service desk. At this point Larry talks about some of the interesting equipment that can be found at the Media Resource Center. While he talks about the equipment, Larry moves from computer station to computer station; Larry is small and is seen standing on the counter of each station. At the second station Larry is standing on a turntable and is seen spinning around and around. Larry then spins off the turntable and appears on the third computer station where he mentions the scanners and printers that are available. At the end of this scene Larry stands between the computer stations, then turns and walks away as he mentions the number of audio recordings the MRC owns.

.
Larry: Here at the Media Resource Center you’ll find all kinds of interesting equipment. We have a multimedia area where you can do digital video editing and DVD burning. We also have a station dedicated to digital audio editing and recording. We have two Epson flat bed scanners and an Epson inkjet printer.

Next Larry appears on a display of compact discs describing the music collection. Larry also plays a fiddle with old time fiddle music in the background.

Larry: We have thousands of audio recordings on phono disc and compact disc from the Medieval period to the modern. We have folk, jazz, pop, rock, and we have bluegrass and old time.

Scene 3: After Larry finishes talking about the compact disc collection, a hand reaches in and grabs him; it then places him on top of the service desk. There, Larry talks about the equipment available for listening and viewing MRC materials. Next he talks about the laptop computers, digital cameras, and digital audio recording equipment that are also available for circulation, and as each type of equipment is mentioned an image of that equipment appears beside the figure.

Larry: We have all the equipment necessary for viewing and listening to our materials. We also have laptop computers that circulate for 3 hours at a time. We have digital audio recorders, digital cameras and digital video camcorders.

Scene 4: Larry is next seen sitting on the edge of the service desk where he mentions the MRC hours. Next he is seen standing on the opposite side of the service desk as six other similar figures appear beside the first figure.

Larry: The MRC is open during regular library hours. I hope you enjoyed our little tour, see you soon.

The scene fades to the ending while music plays in the background. The End.
