Patents are a valuable source of information on processes and products in the chemical industry. Fogler Library is the home of the only Patent and Trademark Depository Library in Maine. Services offered include the full-text of United States patents, 1974-present, and free instruction on how to do a patent search on a topic of interest. If you need to locate a copy of a specific patent, refer to the Fogler Library Guide, "Locating Copies of Patents. "
