E-Commerce Company Directories

These directories are specific to e-commerce and technology, but provide limited information.  Make sure to check out the Fogler Library Companies guide for locating more in-depth company information (e.g., financials, market share, rankings, products/brands, histories, articles, etc).

  Includes a directory of "leading e-commerce companies."

  Click on "Lookup Industry" then the "E-Commerce" link for a listing of publicly traded companies and corresponding reports.

• E-Business Forum > Doing Business In...
  Evaluation of e-business climate and readiness in selected countries. Click on "Doing Business In..." tab from the top menu.
• Encyclopedia of Emerging Industries via Business & Company Resource Center
  This reference work contains chapters regarding E-Commerce, which can be accessed online via Business & Company Resource Center. From Advanced Search, select "Industry Overviews " under Content Area, then enter "Encyclopedia of Emerging Industries" and select Source from the drop down list and enter "e-commerce" in the second search field (leaving the default selection, Keyword). Example

  Click on "Lookup Industry" then scroll down to the "E-Commerce" link and click on the icon for the industry report.
