The Lakewood Theater opened in 1901 as part of the Lakewood Resort on Wesserunsett Lake, near Skowhegan, Maine. With the exception of the 1984 season, the theater has operated annually since then. The collection contains material concerning the productions of the theater. It contains programs, clippings, brochures and scrapbooks. There are no theater business records included.

The project was a collaborative effort between the Portland Society of Natural History and the Maine Audubon Society, under the guidance of Christopher M. Packard, director of the Portland Society of Natural History Museum.

Landscape architect born in Portland, Maine. Collection of 525 architectural drawings including landscape architecture plans, contour drawings, planting diagrams and blueprints.  There are also detailed drawings of fences, garden paths, outbuildings and gates.  The drawings were done mostly in the 1920's and 1930's in Maine, New York, New Jersey, Missouri, Connecticut and North Carolina and demonstrate the process of landscape design through the various types which are included, such as rough sketches, sketches on older blueprints, preliminary drawings, alternative drawings, final plans and final blueprints.
