According to a Maine Campus article, “Of the 20 entrants, Sigma Nu had the fastest bed-sled. Alpha Gamma Rho won best overall bed-sled and Delta Tau Delta’s bed-sled won most original. 2024 issue of the UMaine Libraries Magazine now available online


Are you looking for some holiday reading? UMaine Libraries is proud to announce that the 2024 issue of the UMaine Libraries Magazine (formerly the Raymond H. Fogler Magazine) is now available on Fogler Library’s website. This issue features 12 stories covering a wide range of topics, including a dive into how Fogler Library is assisting in efforts to restore a vanishing salt marsh in Surry; reminiscences of a former UMaine athlete, the great granddaughter of Maine inventor Chester Greenwood, and the family of Raymond H. Fogler; how Fogler’s Patent and Trademark Resource Center supports Maine’s inventors and innovation; the legacy and future plans of UMaine Press; Maine InfoNet’s support of UMaine Libraries’ new library system; and the digitization of the University of Maine at Machias’ Washingtonia yearbook.
