Indexes and Databases

These electronic databases are licensed by Fogler Library.  Access is limited to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Maine.  Many of these databases provide access to journal article citations and abstracts, with some full text. Check with a librarian for further assistance.

Oxford Bibliographies	Oxford Bibliographies is a collection of disciplined-based subject modules in which leading scholars recommend and summarize the most important and significant sources in each subject. Citations link out to URSUS and other sources. Fogler Library has access (or will have access when published) to the modules for Atlantic History, Buddhism, Education, Hindu Studies, International Relations, Islamic Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work. Updated quarterly. USM has access to Education, Linguistics, Political Science and Public Health.
