Student Provides Access to Civil War Materials

History graduate student Edward Andrew Kobylarz digitized and transcribed a wide selection of documents from the Paul W. Bean Collection as a part of a summer internship in Fogler Library’s Special Collections Department. Color scans and searchable text allow researchers a new way to access letters, pamphlets and other documents that provide a glimpse of activities, political opinions, and personal reflections during and after the Civil War.
