New Graduate School Exhibit

Special Collections and the Graduate School have collaborated on exhibits as part of the School’s centennial celebrations. In Fogler Library (by the North Entrance) is an exhibit showcasing the research of notable UMaine graduate students, including Edith Patch, Fred Hutchinson, and Beryl Warner Williams.

At the Graduate School in Stodder Hall is an exhibit featuring memorabilia and records on loan from the University Archive related to the history of the Graduate School and its founding in 1923.

New Wilde-Stein Exhibit

Throughout the month of October Fogler Library will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the LGBTQ+ student club, Wilde-Stein, with the exhibit Those who will know Pride; The Start of the UMaine’s Wilde Stein Club. The exhibit can also be accessible online in Digital Commons. This exhibit was a collaboration between the University of Maine and University of Southern Maine.

Halloweekend Horror Author Panel: Conversations at Fogler

This Halloween Eve, October 30 from 7-8pm, come to Fogler’s second floor Salon to listen to some of the scariest stories Maine has to offer, and to meet the minds responsible! Emma J. Snacks will be provided.

Register here! Space is limited and registration is required.

Join us on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 3-5pm in Fogler’s Oakes Room for cider and snacks! Wear a Halloween costume that references any literary work and enter to win a $25 Bookstore Gift Card!
