Circulation department welcomes three new library specialists
Fogler Library’s Circulation department is delighted to announce the appointment of three library specialists, Laird Leathers, Nicholas McCourt and Aarynn O’Brien, all of whom will start work later this month.
Leathers comes to us from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he has been working since 2006. He brings with him experience in several library departments, including access services and information technology. Having honeymooned with his wife in the Bangor/Orono area some years ago, he is excited to be relocating to Maine.
McCourt recently moved back to Maine from South Carolina, where he has been working at Richmond Library for the past nine years. In addition to his public library experience, he has worked in a call center and in a variety of other industries. Outside of work he is a tennis professional and coach.
O’Brien has a background in art and design, in addition to having library and other experience. She is an avid reader and learner and hopes to further her studies in library sciences in the future.
Please join us in welcoming these new employees to the library and to campus.
