Tours of Special Collections and Projects offered during Family and Friends Weekend

Flyer advertising Special Collections tours at Fogler Library.

Want to learn more about UMaine traditions, such as the Stein Song, Maine Day, Winter Carnival, or history of student groups like All Maine Women and Senior Skulls, or our mascot Bananas T. Bear? Stop by Special Collections and Projects in Fogler Library for a tour and a chance to dip into UMaine’s long history and even relive memories with yearbooks, old photos, and more. If there is something specific that you’d like to see, such as material related to your class (if you are an alum), or if you have a relative who attended UMaine, a staff member will be very happy to assist you and take out the objects you would like to view.

Tours are available during these times:

Friday, Sept. 26, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 27, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
