SciFinder-n Access Change Scifinder-n, a chemical information discovery tool, must now be accessed via a link that provides licensed authentication. If you already have a username and password, please bookmark https://library.umaine.edu/auth/EZProxy/test/authej.asp?url=https://scifinder-n.cas.org/, or use the link on the Scifinder-n database guide. New users should go to the “create an account” link on the guide before logging in to the database. If you are still using the old, classic version of Scifinder, please be aware that it will no longer be available after June 30, 2022. Contact Lindsay Decker, the library’s subject specialist for chemistry, with any questions about SciFinder-n.

Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month

The Reference and Information Literacy department has created a new guide for the May celebration of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month.  This guide highlights Fogler Library resources available to the University community.


Featured Resource: Roper iPoll

The Roper iPoll archives can be useful in analyzing social trends based on opinion polling. Includes the iPoll Databank, Presidential Approval Ratings and U.S. Elections data, and 17,000 international and U.S. datasets. RoperExpress allows on-demand download of data and RoperExplorer can be used for cross-tabular analyses.
