Immigration Challenge – New!

Want to know more about immigration and the lives of immigrants? Sign up for the Immigration Challenge, a collaboration between Fogler Library and UMaine’s Office of International Programs! Every day for five days (November 13-17), you’ll receive an email focused on a different aspect of immigration and immigrants’ experiences, with links to articles, videos, books, and more!  To sign up for the Immigration Challenge, visit this link.


Citation Drop-In Sessions

Students are invited to stop by the library or drop in on Zoom to ask librarians their citation questions. We’re happy to address questions on any citation style. Librarians will be available for the full hour on a first come, first served basis, so feel free to stop in at any point during the hour. Go to our Workshops page to register for a Zoom link.

Citation Management Workshop for Graduate Students

Learn to use citation managers and save time by organizing records of articles, books, and other publications to create in-text citations and bibliographies. This workshop is offered in-person and over Zoom. Go to our Workshops page to register for the Zoom session. Registration is not required for the in-person session.

Featured Resource: Springer Nature Experiments

Springer Nature Experiments is a collection of protocols and methods for life sciences research. UMaine access includes Protocol Exchange (an open access repository), and the subscription titles Nature Methods, Nature Protocols, and the series SpringerProtocols, including Methods in Molecular Biology.
