5-2a Searching for an existing vendor (supplier) record in MaineStreet

Purpose: to see if a vendor record currently exists in MaineStreet

1. In MaineStreet, go to Enterprise Applications>Financials>Suppliers>Supplier Information>Add/Update>Supplier
2. Change the Classification field to “MaineStreet Marketplace”
3. Enter the name of the vendor you are searching for in the “Name” box.
4. If no vendor exists, see instructions for “Requesting a new vendor (supplier) in Mainestreet”.
5. If a vendor record exists, but the vendor address is incorrect, see instructions for “Requesting an update to Mainestreet vendor/supplier”.
