VR Headsets for Teaching & Research
Virtual reality (VR) opens new dimensions in education, research, and engagement at Fogler Library. With your help, we can purchase four HTC Vive Focus headsets to bring digitized artifacts and historical environments to life. These tools will support interactive teaching, immersive job-training simulations, and dynamic public programming—bringing the past and future together for our community.

Halloweekend Event Support
Every October, Fogler Library helps support the campus’s Halloweekend by hosting a celebration of literature, local authors, and ghostly storytelling. Your gift will help us cover speaker honorariums, travel, and refreshments so we can continue to bring horror writers, scholars, and the community together for this much-anticipated seasonal event.

Banned Books Week Event Support
Help us champion intellectual freedom. Each year, we host a Banned Books Week program to educate students and the public about book censorship, featuring presentations, Q&A sessions, and interactive activities. Donations will fund speaker costs and food for attendees, helping us foster awareness and conversation around the freedom to read.

Gaming Event Support (Rulebooks & Dice)
Tabletop gaming builds community and creativity. With your support, Fogler can purchase the core Dungeons & Dragons rulebooks (Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, Monster Manual) and dice sets for students to borrow. These resources allow students to gather for affordable, inclusive gaming sessions—no expensive materials required.
