Bio
Greg Curtis heads up the Special Collections at Folger Library. He is also the Regional Federal Depository Librarian for Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. A lifelong resident of the state, after studying architecture in college out of state, he returned to Maine receiving a BA in Art History from the University of Maine. He has an MLIS from the University of Rhode Island’s with a concentration archives and rare books. While in graduate school, he worked in Special Collections at URI. After graduating he worked for Maine Historical Society as Assistant Manuscripts curator, with special focus on architectural and engineering drawings along with photographs. He is a past member of the Maine Historic Records Advisory Board of the state archives, and the Depository Library Council for the Government Publishing Office. He is currently a member of the Maine Archives and Museum Association, New England Archivists,
and the Society of American Archivists.
