News media highlights love letters
Members of the Division of Marketing and Communications have highlighted several of our department’s collections in their post, World War II-era love letters unsealed after 50 years.
This story was then covered by the Portland Press Herald in an article titled, “Love letters that led to a Maine couple’s marriage give glimpse of life during World War II,” February 14, 2024, page 1.
Alyssa Thurlow of WABI-TV-5 interviewed the Head of Special Collections & Projects, Greg Curtis, and posted a story on March 7, 2024, “Maine couple’s World War II-era love letters unsealed at last.”
