Event and Display Spaces in the Library

Event Spaces
Rooms and spaces in Fogler Library are normally reserved for library-sponsored programs, instruction, and events.

In certain cases, the library is able to offer these spaces to UMaine departments, organizations, or offices to host workshops, events, or informational sessions. Availability of space in the library depends on the time of year, the nature of the use, and the duration of the event.

If you’re interested in hosting an event, workshop, or function in the library, please use the form at the bottom of this page to submit your request. Each request will be considered on an individual basis.

Group Study Rooms for Students
If you’re a UMaine student looking for a group study space, we have three group study rooms available, which you can reserve directly through the Circulation Department without using the form below.

Display Cases
Fogler Library has several display cases throughout the building, some of which are available to departments, groups, and individuals at UMaine to display exhibits of public interest. To request a display case, please use the form at the bottom of this page. Proposals for display spaces must be approved by the Library.
