Bio

Joey got his start in the United States Marine Corps, where he was involved in several areas of information technology planning, implementation, and administration.

After his service, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and TESOL as well as a K-12 ESOL teaching certificate. After moving to Maine, he earned an M.A. in History where he focused on the intersection of culture, media, technology, and play.

Now, he monitors best practices and trends in emerging technologies and proactively researches, recommends, develops, adapts, and implements technologically innovative solutions to enhance library services.
