ScholComm 2018 Workshops

Workshop 1: Open Access Publishing
What is open access? How visible is your scholarship online? Did you know that making your work more accessible could lead to a citation advantage? Join us to learn about open access publishing models and options for making your work available online.

Workshop 2: Alternative Metrics to Gauge Scholarly Impact Online
Join the UMaine library to find out more about ways in which scholarly impact is evolving, how to use altmetrics to support applications for grants, promotion, and tenure, and where to find alternative metrics in UMaine resources.

Workshop 3: Managing Your Online Scholarly Presence through Google Scholar and ORCID
