Python for Beginners Workshop

Python is one of the most versatile, powerful, and popular programming languages in the world. Thousands of businesses — including Google, YouTube, and Dropbox — have used Python in real-world applications. From web development to data visualization, learning Python will give you an in-demand skill that you can put to immediate use.

This workshop is designed as an introduction to programming in Python. Even if you have no experience in coding, you can use this workshop as an introduction to the vast possibilities of programming in a popular, useful language.

About the Presenter
Curtis Meadow is a professional software developer with over 30 years of experience. He has an MS in Computer Science from the University of Maine and has taught computer science since 1991. Curtis specializes in the design and development of databases and information management systems in a wide range of domains. His teaching experience includes courses in programming languages, assembly language, and computer architecture.
