North Lobby and Oakes Room

The Oakes Room is a popular location for people at UMaine, and it’s the only location where you can have food in Fogler Library. You can also check out books at the desk in this lobby.

The large staircase will take you to the second floor, and the hallway leading past the Oakes Room will take you to the first floor restrooms.

Now, we’re going to take the hallway to the left of the large staircase and go back to the Information Commons to visit the Research & Instruction Department Help Desk.
